Beef Bulgogi
450g center cut top sirloin, thinly sliced
Marinade:
45g soy sauce
80g Asian/Korean pear, grated
40g onion, grated
12g (3 cloves) garlic, minced
6g ginger, minced
12g toasted sesame oil
30g honey
15g mirin (optional)
1g black pepper
15g green onion, sliced
Mix all marinade ingredients together.
You can put all the non-liquid marinade ingredients together in a food processor to make it easier.
Place beef in marinade and refrigerate for 30 min. to overnight.
Preheat griddle to high heat.
Lightly oil the griddle and cook the beef in thin layers, about 30-45 seconds per side.
Do not overcrowd or it will steam, not sear.
