Avocado Toast
1 ripe avocado, mashed
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp lemon juice
Toppings:
cherry tomatoes, sliced
broccoli sprouts
balsamic reduction
extra virigin olive oil
red pepper flakes
fried egg
Toast your slice of bread until golden and firm.
Remove the pit from your avocado. Use a big spoon to scoop out the flesh. Put it in a bowl and mash it up with a fork until it’s as smooth as you like it.
Mix in a pinch of salt and add more to taste, if desired.
Add lemon juice.
For the garlic you can:
rub the raw garlic onto the toasted bread
mince the garlic and add it to the avocado toast
Spread avocado on top of your toast. Enjoy as-is or top with any extras.
